Educational program »International School of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management« was developed by Consortium: (1) Sport Center Association of Slovenia, (2) University Primorska, (3) University Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, (4) Educational Center Grm Novo mesto, (6) Ensico S, d.o.o. Ljubljana, (7) El-Tec Mulej d.o.o. Bled and (8) Association of greenkeepers of Slovenia. Members of Consortium have signed on May 20th 2009, the Consortium Agreement no. 2009/01, for development and implementation of educational program »International School of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management«.
Seminar »Stadiums, football pitches and grass surfaces for sport and leisure«, is part of educational program »International School of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management. « The content of the seminar was developed by Sport centre Association of Slovenia, in cooperation with partners: ZPO d.o.o. Celje, Football Federation of Slovenia, Educational Center Grm Novo mesto, Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing, Ransomes & Jacobsen Ltd Ipswich UK, AB d.o.o. Žirovnica, Green Consulting d.o.o. Prestranek, Zeleni inženiring d.o.o. Ljubljana and Public institution Šport Ljubljana. Seminar was attended by 62 officials of international associations, general managers and professionals of companies, public institutions, municipalities and educational institutions from Russia, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. Participants have received the seminar publication »Stadiums«. Publication was in English and Slovenian language. All lectures were presented by video presentations. Lectures were executed in English and Slovenian language, with consecutive translation in Russian language. Participants received certificate for professional training.

Seminar was designed for planers, managers and heads of maintenance of stadiums, football pitches and grass surfaces for sport and leisure. We presented the scheme of standards and regulations of stadiums and analysis of management and maintenance of football pitches with artificial turf. lecturers have presented management and maintenance of football pitches with natural grass, taking samples and soil analysis, economical plan of fertilization, machinery for grass maintenance and environment friendly washing facility. Participants have fulfilled questionnaires about facilities with artificial turf and sport surfaces, with which they operate. second part of the seminar was visit to the stadium and presentation of auxiliary facilities, technological systems, machinery and equipment for maintenance of grass surfaces, brands Ransomes & Jacobsen and Toro.
