INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SPORT AND LEISURE INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT

 

Over 300 public institutions, sport associations and companies, from 32 countries, prepared an initiative for foundation of International Association of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management (IASLIM). They manage more then 2.200 sport and leisure facilities and areas.

 

Sport centers manage various facilities and areas, such as:

  • sport parks and recreational areas,
  • athletics and football stadiums,
  • sport halls,
  • halls for gymnastics, aerobics, table tennis, combat sports and skills, dancing and ballet,
  • indoor and outdoor swimming pools and baths,
  • covered and uncovered sheet of ice for skating and ice hockey,
  • gymnasiums and fitness studios,
  • tennis centers, halls and outdoor playgrounds,
  • football fields with natural and artificial grass,
  • playgrounds for basketball, handball, volleyball, in-line hockey, save-a-side football, squash, badminton, beach volley,
  • bowling alleys and tenpin alleys,
  • rowing, kayak and canoe, sailing centers and marines,
  • ski slopes and centers and ski jumping facilities,
  • climbing walls for sport climbing,
  • roller-skate playgrounds and skate parks,
  • sport shooting centers and ranges,
  • ranges for archery,
  • cycling runways and velodroms,
  • sport playground for children.

 

Each year these operators spend several hundred millions of euros for managing and maintenance of facilities. Over 100 million users and visitors visit these facilities each year.


SEARCHING FOR THE BEST SUPPLIERS

 

For operating and maintaining facilities Sport centers demands products and services, such as:

  • tools, materials and services for maintenance,
  • sport equipment and requisites,
  • cleaning equipment, devices and services,
  • security services for facilities and events,
  • bookkeeping services,
  • transport vehicles and services,
  • advertising services and equipment,
  • computer programming and equipment,
  • communication systems,
  • banking and insurance services,
  • swimming pool maintenance services and products,
  • professional education and training programs,
  • labor agencies,
  • communal services,
  • energy supply,
  • office stationery,
  • overalls and shoes,
  • different products and services.

 

On behalf of Sport centers our IASLIM is establishing the information system with data about suppliers, their products and services and is also working on preparing the reference list of suppliers, based on their quality, reliability and prices.
