Public-private partnership - Visits to competence sport centers 

 

Educational program “International school of sport and leisure infrastructure management” is interdisciplinary program, developed by consortium members. Professional training program as part od educational program is implemented by International association of sport and leisure infrastructure management and it’s member UBAE Barcelona. The program encompass International seminar “Public-private partnership (PPP) in sport, leisure and infrastructure”, study visits to competence centers and European Conference of IASLIM. Program in Barcelona is designed for managers and professionals from the companies, public institutions, municipalities and sport organizations, which operate sport and leisure infrastructure and offer sport and leisure programs. The program in the Center Eurofitness Llefià, will be conducted with translations in Catalan, Spanish and English language.

Organization can apply its members for the program with registration form by e-mail info@iaslim.org, fax of post. Registration is confirmed after the payment of proforma invoice.  The program includes lectures, presentations, publication, study visits, certificate for professional training and receptions.  Fee for the program is 100 euro, when paid by 1 September 2011. After this date the fee is 200 euro.  You can arrange the transfer to Barcelona and hotel accommodation by yourself or we can arrange it for you. Reservation must be confirmed by 1 September 2011.  The fee will not be refunded if applicant shall not participate. Company/organization will receive publication by post. The organizer can cancel the program in case of major force or not enough participants. In this case the organizer refunds the amount already paid.

The International Association of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management is an organization and movement, for the purpose of improving the management of sport and leisure infrastructure through out the world. The Association would not be a bureaucratic organization, with a centralized structure but a network of national, regional and continental organizations, as part of the international structure. As a movement it will design a virtual space using fast communications with the internet connections, e-mail correspondence, on line video conferences and workshops and distant education, training and consulting programs and services. The Association aims to make commitments to the infrastructure managers and to develop profession of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management. A need for The Association, an organization of and for professional managers of sport and leisure infrastructure, has been recognized by hundreds of public institutions, private companies, sport clubs and federations and local communities, all over the world. The Association will promote and develop sport and leisure infrastructure management as a specific economic sector. 

 

Members

The Association has 192 members in 21 Countries. They are companies, public institutions, municipalities, sport associations and professionals, which manage over 3.000 sport and leisure facilities: sport centers, arenas, stadiums, swimming pools, ski centers, equestrian centers, recreational areas, baths, skating rinks, tennis courts, golf courses, hippodromes, velodromes, shooting ranges and other facilities.
